Aboriginal Ministry of Justice Announces Account Reset Ahead of New Approved-Access System

Published: January 8, 2026

Author: Aboriginal Ministry of Justice Team

The Aboriginal Ministry of Justice announced this week that all existing website accounts will be deleted as part of a platform transition to a new approved-access system designed specifically to serve tribal members.

This update is a planned infrastructure change and does not require any action at this time.

Why Accounts Are Being Deleted

The account reset supports a broader shift toward developing tribal-member–specific content, tools, and jurisdictional resources. The new system will allow for stronger security, clearer access control, and more accurate delivery of member-only information.

Removing existing accounts ensures a clean transition and helps prevent unauthorized access to protected resources.

When New Account Registration Opens

New account registration will open next week. At that time, individuals will be able to create a new account through the updated platform.

All new accounts will require approval prior to access.

How the Approval Process Will Work

The approval process is intended to:

  • Protect sensitive tribal and jurisdictional information
  • Ensure access is limited to eligible individuals
  • Maintain accuracy within the system

Additional details regarding approval timelines and eligibility will be shared when registration opens.

What Tribal Members Should Expect

Once approved, tribal members will have access to:

  • Member-specific content and updates
  • Jurisdictional resources
  • Secure platform tools aligned with governance standards

Further enhancements will continue to roll out as part of ongoing platform improvements.

What to Do Now

No immediate action is required. Updates and instructions for creating a new account will be posted when registration opens next week.

The Aboriginal Ministry of Justice appreciates the community’s patience as these improvements are implemented in support of a more secure and structured digital environment.
